Title: LDA pump fittings for running a MBC..
Post by: bbob203 on June 16, 2012, 10:09:39 am
If I were to get a few extra banjo fittings from an LDA pump top and put them onto my turbo and used them and some sort of tubing to hookup a MBC would it work? The diameter of the barb is small but it seems like it might work. The reason is I don't want to cut my hard line to install incase i ever want to take it off. With that said does any one have any extras of these they'd sell me?

Are you trying to delay signal to the LDA?

no the lda has nothing to do with it. I just wanted see if I used a couple of  the banjo barb fittings like the one that is on the pump, on the turbo in place of the hard line so I don't have to cut it up and a means to run a manual boost controller.

I see where you are going, I had to run a bit bigger bore fittings than that  for my MBC to work like I wanted.
I'd look for one with ~1/4" ID.

My wastegate came with rubber hose, and I cut it in the middle.
