has a partially disassembled 5cyl gas motor in it.

This car is FREE, clear paperwork, RI registration. Its sitting moldering, I will honestly say that the chances of me putting the gas motor back together and getting it running again are slim to none. Drop something else in, or convert it to diesel, or put it back together, motor was good, head got removed to repair exhaust studs, that was finished, and I lost interest and never put it back together, comes with a mountain of new parts, a service manual, and everything you need to get it going. I sunk a decent amount of cash into the car, so its got lots of already installed new parts, tires, brakes, shocks. The list goes on and on and on.
The problem is I just was given two additional cars, so this non running car has to go.
I have a running 1.6 NA sitting here that you can have for 150 bucks, so if you want a motor, and a body to put it in, PM me. The car itself is free, and I am willing to deliver it withing reasonable distance, pm for details on that too.

not trying to be a troll, but the diesel would require a fox, dasher, or audi 4k style trans to be installed in the quantum wagon. the 4cyl and 5 cyl have different bell patterns.
but, being an 87, it VERY WELL MAY be a trans with BOTH bolt patterns!! would have to check before you commit for a swap..

no no, not a troll, this is important info. No promises on whether a diesel will bolt to the 5-speed in there, but it might, and adapters are certainly an option. ;D
