Title: HFLOX nozzles
Post by: chopper03 on May 05, 2012, 05:52:46 pm
Anybody got any reviews on the new nozzles that Red Rotors is selling ?

I am about to start on a mtdi with a Rover pump and would like to run a set of 216 nozzles in it.

Yep using his .216's on my 99.5 ALH.Working well, good on fuel and on power.I playedwith the IQ setting,They can be made to be fairly smoke free with my setup and when I lowered the IQ they seem to work as well as the race 520's they replaced.MY nozzles have WARP 2 etched on them.

I have WARP3 in my Passat, soon to be WARP5, I've installed WARP7's into a Golf with a 17/22, its fast.

I've sold Chinese nozzles, Bosio, Bosch, and Titans. I tested HFLOX nozzles in two local ALH TDIs with VNT-17 turbos and one ALH TDI with VNT-17/22, FMIC, etc. I've decided to use HFLOX in two of my personal TDIs, they're good. Can't beat the price either.

what's the fuel economy likely to be with say .240 or .260um?

I can say that with WARP3 (.230) my economy is about spot on or a little better than my old Bosch T4 setup.
I'll report back when my friend does a tank without flogging it with WARP7.
