Title: green/black wire?
Post by: knowtwodrugs on April 03, 2012, 10:48:31 am
I have a 1981 bunny, and the P.O. installed an electric fuel pump and ran it to a switch that they installed on the dash. I deleted it, but the hot wire that they used goes into the wiring harness and I can't figure out where it ends. It is green/black.

someone would have to know exactly what wire your talking about. you gave no location of the wire, or any more description of it other than its hot, and it comes out of the wiring harness.. and its green/black..

ive had issues JUST LIKE YOURS before, and the only solution, was to bust out the diagrams, and start studying them closely until you find the wire you want..

sorry i dont have a definitive answer for you..

I will check my Bentley when I get close to it in a couple of days if you 1. don't get an answer before then or 2. get your very own super duper helpful Bentley.

Sometimes they aren't all that helpful, just so you know.

I think that you're probably right because my rear defroster has never worked.  I never cared enough to check it out, but I will have to now I suppose.  I just don't want a loose hot wire under the dash.  I mean I could easily cap it but it will always bug me.  Thanks for the info.
