I'm looking for a inexpensive way to raise the ride height of my rear-sagging 1991 Jetta. Anyone out there know a good source for these parts (new or used) and perhaps MK3 Jetta springs/dampers for the front also?
Thanks,
Dane

The shocks in the rear...You could replace them and use a small section of approx. 2" diameter exhaust pipe over the shock and under the perch. Or I flipped the perch and got about an inch more. Depends on what you want to do and how much up you need.

Been using passat rear springs in a mk 2 jetta for a lot of years. Bought the struts off a wrecked '93 passat 4 door (not wagon) that was already on a trailer headed for the wrecking yard. If I remember right, I wound up cutting about 1 1/2 coils off to get the ride hieght reasonable, still higher that stock though. works good, lots of load capacity.

looks like ill be stealing even more stuff off the 94 vr6 in my local pull a part. I guess it makes sense passats are much heavier compared to jettas. I wonder if the front springs would be worth picking up as well I wonder if it would raise up my front end equal to my rear?
