Title: FS: Volvo 760 sedan with D24T motor
Post by: Quantum TD on February 29, 2012, 05:59:55 pm: I just happened upon this thing and couldn't resist. But I think I need to move it fast at what I paid.

1984 760 sedan with slushbox trans, wiring issues, and a rough interior. If you had a car to swap this into, it would be the perfect match. PO claimed it was running before the electrical issues, which really isn't a diesel issue.

I'm gonna get it running, but figure it's just a swappable motor. Odometer reads 200K.

$700 firm. In Nashville, TN.

i wish you were closer.. thats the engine i want for my toyota 4runner..

How do you intend to do that without some serious custom fabrication? Or is that what you intend to do?

i can build things..

i come from a fabricating family.. we build custom aluminum boats from the ground up.. so i think i could probably come up with an adapter plate and motor mounts, exhaust, yadda yadda...

i know what it takes to put something in a place it was never intended to be..

That is cool. Kind of like the water cooled exhaust manifolds that you sometimes see for the D24(T) engines.
