Title: Interchangeable ?

Hey guys,
Are 1.6D Longblocks interchangeable between transverse and longitudinal vehicles ?
I frequently see them advertised as 1.6 transverse engine or 1.6 longitudinal engine.
Is it just the bolt on stuff that is different ?
Or is there differences in the longblock as well ?

I think its just the sump and the oil pump foot

Yes the longblocks are the same/switchable.
Like Mark is trying to say, oilpan and oil pickups are different (english translation). lol

Most of the external extremities are different,
but all the swap pieces bolt right up from one to the other.
