Title: 1978 rabbit card
Post by: theman53 on February 04, 2012, 06:44:35 am
Mom got this for me, from the vw dealer I think, when she was looking for newer car. Kind of neat and if I had a rabbit that is what I would want it to look like.

52 mpg on the hwy. 39 city with a 4 spd tranny.  That's their claim, and we are still trying to keep it true.

Thanks for info and the pic.

HAHAHAHAHA...

you know Jeremy, you may actually be right!

the 1.5Ds came coupled to a GC 4 spd more often back then, and those trannies make the engine SCREAM at 60 mph..

i cant believe i ever went over 100mph with a GC trans..  :o
