Yeah, but you need a rear locker to get it there.  ;)

I picked it up in November. I put a decoupler in it to get better milage, but when I only get 17 mpg at best, you gotta try anything.
Man I love this thing.

It was a great time. Lots of cool rigs. I'll be there next year again.

I do have to say that the stable is growing. I can't help it. They're not VW's but German and diesel.
This was the deal of the year. You'd have to be nuts to pass these up for the price I got them for. The P.O. had more than $20K into them and has done nothing to them since he bought them a year ago.

[url](http://i232.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/joshmarstall/1338152202.jpg)/url].

The plan is to get them home to figure out what to do with them. Whether or not part them out or put one together and scrap/sell whats left. So if anyone out there has any parts they need for a '86 Unimog 419 SEE. Hit me up.

I see some zombie vehicle projects right there. You are too far away for me to actually look into these. I would probably go for something a bit more popular for ease of getting parts, but those do look cool. Awesome find.

Definitely a cool rig.  When's it going diesel?

A friend of mine has a Syncro Doka that will be an mTDI before too long.  :-)

Yes, it will have a late model ALH in it, but to do that and have it even a decent driving rig, the trans will need to be regeared along with SA oiling plates and a full rebuild.

Ha, I do have a lot of irons in the fire all at once. So I can only play with one at a time depending on the price of what parts the projects need or the time I have to devote to it.

For now, the Sinka is my daily driver.

Kinda goes without saying with T3s.  ;D

Disregard that disappearing DOKA in the video, it was a facility test, not a test of the vehicle. It was weighted down with about 1.5 tons of ballast and doing around 60 when it hit the wall.

Actually, the T3 is excellent for safety for its passengers.  Better than similar year Volvos which are renowned for safety.  It has a very rigid front passenger compartment with appropriate crumple zones and cannibalizes the other vehicle in collisions.  The visibility in a T3 and the ability to be seen by other motorists is unmatched.  It doesn't have air bags, but I've always thought that the functioning of the air bags between people's ears was far more important.

Come and play with it August 15-16 at North West Mog Fest.

My buddy and I had some fun digging up some dirt at a construction site that was a dumping ground for excess back fill.
Man this thing is fun as S#!T

Oh my god dat Mog.   8)

Only ever seen one, guess because Unimogs are a little thin on the ground in southern states if you're not looking for them.  Love how they can be converted to do practically any job, military or civillian.  The dirt mover backhoe attachment yours has is definitely one of the most versatile, and will have your friends calling about doing some ditch-digging every weekend.

That thing looks like it has wicked fast hydraulics. I didn't realize that it had a hoe attachment before. Now I really want one.

Went to the Steam Up fair today and entered the UniMog in the  tractor pull.
Not bad. 60 FT. The Mog it self weighs in at 13660LBs plus the tractor on the sled to start with.

You're not allowed to have this much fun with an old piece of junk.  Well that is what it was until you got your hands on it.  Good Job, Josh.

I think your average of 150lbs per person is seriously low.  More than a few people stepping onto that sled looked like they were double that.

Call it an American 150.  Just a bit beefier than say an Australlian 150.

Does anyone know of anyone ever getting a "Free" Mog! :o

We're gonna put ours up for sale at this weekends NWMF, for $20K and take $15K for it  :o. But after we dig some SH!T up.  ;D

Mog flipping?  Better success than houses right now.  Good for you, no more dirty teeth then.
