Title: Bosch India Nozzles for IDI- is that it?
Post by: rs899 on January 28, 2012, 06:01:24 pm
Are there any other choices?

In the Mercedes world you can get Bosio (Italy) or Monark (Germany).  Are we stuck with India?

And the problem with India is? The nozzles must still pass Bosch quality test.

We have Bosch of India

and Prothe of China-Pop

Never had any problem from a Bosch.
You could take them to a fuel shop after installing them in the injectors - and have them quality tested if you wanted to. Have heard of only a couple instances where someone said they had a problem - and not sure where they sourced theirs from. (like maybe they got hosed)

The handful of folks i've known to actually have them tested after buying them new from AutohausAZ or eGerman had no issues.

Ah, I bought some MB nozzles from him ( C Sean Watts).  I understand he's MIA.  I swapped in a different set that seem to work for now.  I guess Bosch are OK for the price.

Mia?  Man, I needed to get some injector shims from him.  Well, I guess I can hope that he resurfaces within the next 2 months or find another source.
