Title: Where to buy injection pump seal.
Post by: shwak23 on January 12, 2012, 11:16:11 pm: I need the advance gasket. The PO on my buddys car used liquid gasket stuff and it's leaking. Where do I get the seal or gasket or whatever? Actually I need the front one as well. Same plate on the front is leaking.

Is that peretty much the only place you can get them? I am heavily considering the gov mod, and was just thinkin about where I wuold get the gasket for the top.

I have had EXCELLENT luck with just reusing the seal and some fuel safe gasket maker. Avery thin thin bead and it will seal better than a new seal.

You can get Bosch kits for same or less than Prothe Hans.
and..... they're BOSCH with Viton, instead of ??

Fuel shops, and Sam, will both sale individual Bosch seals/gaskets if you just want a certain something.

Bosch Kits

DGK 126 for Basic style pumps
DGK 121 for TD and the 88-92 Altitude Aneroid pumps

Correct Front seals are usually sold seperately from kits now.
Sam usually includes them
