Title: crank pulley aaz- motor
Post by: jantd on February 06, 2006, 04:22:56 pm
hi guys,

I've read the very interesting articles of mainly quicktd, enjoyed especially the crank modification from td to tdi,it's almost art..

It got me wondering though whether I have to worry bout my aaz(golf 1.9 td '96) with 320k km..
Should I take the pulley off and check the crank is still ok, or is it enough to feel whether there is play on it and leave like it is?
Second question:that clutch pulley for alternator:has it got the same external diameter-can i use the same belt?
Third:that intermediate pulley:does it ever fail,should I replace it's bearings?
Fourth:what about the other bearings (camshaft maybe,or pump?)

AAZy does it (still)!!!!!!
