Title: mk1 inter cooler setup

i'd like to do the all aluminium saab intercooler on my friends rabbit, does anyone have any suggestions as far as what to use for piping and where to get it, and also a good location for the intercooler.  thanks!

yeah i know where to get the intercooler, i'm really curious abou what to use for piping, well i have  few ideas but whats tthe most popular?

never mind what everyone else is doing. too much concern on that front produces a cookie-cutter car community (read as the cloning of the honda civic)
try something new, or just stick with functionality. on that note, downturn exhaust tips do wonders for tailgate cleanliness.

I'd recommend using mandrel u-bends for intercooler piping. Just cut the shape of the bend you need and weld the peices together to get the full pipe. It is extremely durable and should last the life of the car. Bends are also pretty cheap.

I use downturned exhaust mostly to try and dissipate the smoke since my car is quite smokey.

yeah i wondered about the exhaust because of the movie i watched with the 2 mercedes turbo diesels, and i had heard alot of talk about it before, and having a blue car with a black ass end is sort of not pleasant, although it is fun to write in, and it's also fun to shoot smoke all over people who ride my ass XD
