Title: Just an idea..
Post by: R.O.R-2.0 on October 23, 2011, 03:03:26 pm
so, do you think we could take the 1.8 16v oil pump, drive gear, and gear retainer/cover plate, and install them in our diesels to have a OEM vacuum pump delete?

the oil pumps that came factory in cars with manual brakes, they also had the same splined drive as the 16v pumps. i have one of these oil pumps, just not the drive gear or the hold down for it..

gasser drive gears are cut the opposite direction than diesels( for the reverse spinning IM shaft)
