thats what i figured but i also came across another place that had some stage 1 and 2 camshafts at
Bora inc.
Anybody buy parts from here with negative feedback?
It looks like Kerma will have a 6-9 week wait on a stage 2 camshaft but this Bora place has some.
any word from these guys?

I would recommend Kerma or Frank's TDI's. Both have complete cam replacement solutions. Kerma uses Colt cams and Frank uses another well-established cam grinder. Frank also provides modified cam bearings for improved oil flow.

I for one would use Bora because he's local, honest and a friend. I've bought many parts, especially cams and lifter sets for PD TDI's from Aaron and have had no issues.

On a side note, Kerma ripped him off for a very large amount of money and that there would be enough to deture me from doing business with them.

Just my 2 cents.

The plus for Frank would be that he deals solely with tdi heads and has rebuilt hundreds of them. He is constantly developing improvements to the PD cam issue. Kerma has had some controversy with other vendors but they still have good products and service. Aaron (bleachedbora) has had very satisfied customers as well and a good reputation on tdiclub.

All three have good reviews! Bora seems to have the quickest shipping closely followed by frank, kerma i have read about some rather long waits at times but good products.

I have installed about 8 of franks pd cams this year, they work very well so far all customers are happy. I personally wont buy anything from kerma. They may have cleaned up there act in the last 2 years but I still got a bad taste in my mouth about them. I have spent well over 10k with kerma in the past and wont spend a dime with them ever again. You dont see bad reviews on them because tdiclub mods are in there pockets and delete any negative feedback. But I asure you there is a ton of negative stuff about kerma.
