Title: radiator swap for old style w/o resevoir

My friend has an 81 rabbit TD conversion, gasser intake, 2.5" downpipe and exhaust.  I have a radiator out of an 80 cabrio that he wants to install so he can go without the coolant resevoir.  Does anyone know of any reason not to remove the resevoir?
