Title: wtb: starter for 1.9

so my starter has now every once in a while started well..not starting.ie..turn key, dash / glow plug light lights comes on..turn farther nothing....hit starter with hammer..turn key ...car starts....

its done it 3 times now in the last month.....

does anyone have a decent used starter in the calgary area for a 1.9 TD kicking around?

what 1.9?...what transmission? ....if it's an 020 trans I have an auto TDI starter that would work great with an 020 trans...

the car is a 93" mk3 jetta 1.9 turbo diesel......(not tdi) with a 5 speed.....all stock....i cant remember off the top of my head which trans it is..20a?

any one know if it will fit

AAZs all had 020 trannies..
