that 16v mk1 of your buddies was a VERY NICE car.. i really liked it.
i really wish the hood would have been up on the red V6/4 motion mk2 jetta coupe.

Yeah his car is pretty sweet. I give him shít all the time about his wheels though ;)
What is this about a v6 AWD MKII?

i would do it in a heart beat.. i bet you can make those little buggers turn 12-14k rpms..
plus, that one was supercharged, and i imagine the smaller motors get better economy.

Europe and Japan have all kinds of crazy small displacement motors that'll stomp the *** out of anything for sale stateside. By this logic shouldn't you be out attempting to shoehorn a 7.3L powerstroke into a mkIII?

this is only my opinion, but that would be a WASTE of time..

yea, V6 AWD mk2... the pic of the red jetta coupe..
i didnt really check it out much, but im pretty sure it was 4 motion.. and im pretty sure it had a 30v under the hood. hood was closed tho. if i had a swap like that, i would be flaunting it!
had 5 lug and big brakes, didnt get down and dirty to look at the under carriage, or even the suspension setups, but im pretty sure it was a 30v AWD mk2..
even if it wasnt AWD, it was one of the CLEANEST mk2 coupes there..
-
Where were those pics taken? I'm 99% sure that's Dallas's passat wagon. Didn't realize he had taken it to any shows yet though!
-
Woodburn, Oregon, USA..

oh, and that White Cabby next to the NICE black mk1 16v, that cabby has no top, and has a BBQ GRILL mounted where the boot would be!
no top, nice day only car.. BBQ grille and all!
it was fuggin cool.. dunno why i didnt snap a pic of it.

The G40 was at PW?
Also, on the subject of the red jetta, why do you think it was AWD? Also, why do you think it was a 30V and not just a plain VR6 swap? Just curious.

yup.. G40 rabbit in oregon.
the reason i thought it was 4mo/v6 was because of the HUGE brakes, and the v6/4motion emblems on the front/rear.
