Title: In vancouver need injector lines HELP!!!!!

Made the trip out to Vancouver from Calgary for the great canadian car show. Got a cracked line for #2 in abbotsford. Had a spare NA line but it hits the LDA on the inj. pump so i need to find a TD line for a 1.6L to be safe!! If anyone has some or knows where I can find some please let me know. Don't want to have issues on my trip back.

Post by: Mark(The Miser)UK on August 27, 2011, 03:58:19 pm: You could swing the pump and it's pulley one notch retarded on the timing belt, so that the pump is more upright, all should be well with your 'wrong' line I'm sure ;D

It was line bending that got you in this spot in the first place , all be it a few million times. Justshift your pump

It's not bending lines that cracks them, because they ARE ALL BENT. lol.

it's not loosening the lines when you move the pump or just plain corrosion.

Pretty much what happened was im from calgary and the altitude is different when i got to abbotsford my idle was quite low and the engine was not as smooth vibrating and the line cracked while i hit rush hour. Stop and go traffic was not a good time. I brought my idle up replaced the line and am going to retard my timing a touch like said above to get home. Unless i score some lines at GC today. You don't bend inj. lines. Especially where i would need to so close to the pump, the line wouldnt seat properly then. Thanks for the help guys!
