Title: oil pump for aaz vanagon conversion
Post by: zuhandenheit on July 26, 2011, 09:00:06 pm
I'm gathering parts for my AAZ conversion, and am having trouble finding the right oil pump. I tried to order this Femi pump from Bus Depot: http://www.busdepot.com/details.jsp?partnumber=068115105BP

I believe that has the 36mm gears.

It's back ordered, and so this Meyle pump was recommended: http://www.busdepot.com/details.jsp?partnumber=068115105BPMY

Does it have the same gears? If so, is the quality ok?

thanks

Ben

Thanks Jon,

Maybe I'll try Jack in the future. I've been told that the Meyle pump has the same gears, and I was able to find it for a much better deal that what Bus Depot is asking: http://www.gowestyautoparts.com/1982,VOLKSWAGEN,VANAGON,1286298,Engine/Oil-System/

Thanks to crazyvwvanman on thesamba for the info! It saved me a good bit of cash.
