Title: plunger from a pump with diferent rotation?pump speed?

hi

in the search for the 11mm plunger do i need to find one that the pump goes right(R?) or for just removing the head is not a concern?

and what about pump speed?
i noted that bigger plunger pumps usually have lower rotation speeds,how much can we go before damage?
most are rated for 4000 or 4500rpm(engine),if i rev it more bad things happen or is just a matter of avoiding that rpmīs for long periods?

Yeah, I'm intrigued about the rotation direction issue - I don't see how it matters?

Also the pump speed is the gov setting and would have little bearing on the rotational limits of the piston/pump assembly.

might have to do with the location of the spill ports on the plunger?
i have tdi gearbox,at 3000rpm i am cruising near 150km/h give or take so i dont reeeealy need to rev past 5000rpm but when launching sometimes i just take it up there...
