Title: Difference between 1Z and AFN Engine

What is the difference between 1Z and AFN engine? Besides to the AFN is more powerful.

afn valve stems are 1mm smaller , and the pistons are ment to be stronger

The injector pumps are different (cam plate is the biggest difference I think)
The injector nozzles
the rod bearings utilize sputter bearings for the top pieces
VNT turbo with a divorced turbo manifold
different turbo inlet pipe
different oil feed and return lines
different downpipe and flanges
The pistons are different
different N75 valves
different ECU programming

The valves are the same part number on the AFN/AHU and even the 1Z

I just went through the process of converting my AHU Corrado to a VNt turbo and used a bunch of AFN parts: http://forums.tdiclub.com/showthread.php?t=293320
