Title: What is fair price to ask for TDI w/ trans Problem

2004 Jetta TDI BEW 220,000 miles Timing belt and oil changes and maintenance done on time Cam in good shape. EGR delete done, intake cleaned  Needs tires and 5th gear spline stripped, car aesthetically is in good shape.

does it drive less 5th gear right now?  if so probably anywhere from 1k-3k assuming the car is other wise pretty nice

Yeah. Probably in the $1800-2400 range.
