Title: Weird blinker/parking light problem.
Post by: rabbitman on June 14, 2011, 08:52:28 pm
On the '92 golf.

I just noticed it yesterday, with the ignition OFF, if I click the flasher switch either way all of the parking lights on that side come on, if I turn the key ON with the blinker switch left or right the parking lights go off and the blinkers start blinking and everything is normal.

Any ideas?

That's a weird feature, so over there if you park on the side of the road you turn one side on? What side do you turn on? The road side?

Thanks I'll stop worrying about it haha.

grey market porsche good for that.. benz built it into the headlight switch...

and yep good way to kill a batt...

think they turn light on street side (not edge/sidewalk) of where you park...
