VERY strange noises coming from a Cabby. ::)
Good job ! It's nice to see diesels showing up in strange places. Locals here have a Scirocco with a hot AAZ and there are 2 Corrados - one TDI and one AAZ.

my cabrio is close to done, gotta work out the gltiches now.......glow plug wire harness from mk1 to modify, tbelt, giles pump, finish suspension, than oil cooler, intercooler, and focus on body. but it already starts and runs, just not road worthy yet haha.

I made my own "glowplug relay" using a ford starter solenoid, heavy duty wire, and a 50amp fuse into a momentary switch in a dash blank. Cost about $10.

nice...here's mine... ECO turbo version...     http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=azkwcJWbHOY

I did the same with the glowplug relay...used a lawn mower starter solenoid...for the switch , I used the set button from an old cruise control switch,

I installed a electric operated air valve to turn on boost pressure to the LDA and get more fuel...used the "ON" position from the cruise control stalk for the switch.

Regards,

Ken
