Title: Rod bearings for a 1.6td

I bought some rod bearings from autohausaz.com for my '83 1.6td build and realized that they have oil journal holes in them and the originals don't. Does it make a difference if those holes are there? Thanks in advance for the help I want to make this engine last!!!!

No it doesn't matter. Some call it upgrade as the 16v gassers had it. When I redid my engine I used them and have 20,000 plus miles and it is fine.
