Title: land rover mtdi pump help needed

Yesterday was the first drive car pulled good felt like a v8 compared to the 1.6 I took out but all of a sudden motor stopped as if I turned the key off.  Only thing I did to this pump was put a gov from a 1.6 pump.  

I'm not sure whats going on with this pump but this is what I got.
No fuel to injector but pump is pulling fuel and sending back to the tank threw the return line.
I put my timing tool in and when I spin the pump it doesnt move.
I'm thinking something broke inside the high pressure head.
The stop switch is getting power and swapped it out for a know good 1

Any Ideas?

Well The head was trashed broken foot shaft twisted off
