Title: 200mm clutch friction disk.
Post by: 8v-of-fury on May 04, 2011, 11:44:51 am
I have a cheap candian site i use to get alot of oem parts.. and i need a disk right now. The only reason i am going just the disk and not the kit is because i know the trans is in good shape.. just had an oil leak that got in to the clutch housing, and the rest is history.

Any difference to these two clutch disks? top one is for my application.. a 91 golf 1.6 na, and is listed as $95. the other is for a 85 golf na and is listed as $50.. both 200mm.. Can i buy the 85 disk and be alright here? I dont see why not right? in the pictures they look identical.

IMMEDIATE FEEDBACK IS APPRECIATED! NEED TO ORDER THIS TODAY :)

The one on top looks like a lighter color.
everything else should all fit under a 200mm pp

You've probably heard of it or used it as they have a warehouse in BC :)

www.autopartsway.ca Basically just a worldpac supplier.. but I'll be damned if i can get the stuff cheaper locally..

I've never actually used them to buy parts....however i'm very tempted to order some replacement parts next week.

Do you pay taxes on the items you buy from there?

Yeah you pay HST, so on orders under $75 where you'd pay shipping.. I wouldn't use them. But free shipping over $75.. Its nice for big orders that you dont need tomorrow type thing.

My last last order, was something like $250, and $30 tax. not bad with free shipping from BC to ON

dang, i was hoping not to pay taxes, but all good really because if an order was just a hair over 75, then you save regardless.

Yup, try http://www.autopartsonlinecanada.com too, as they have the same supplier, but i think a different warehouse and sometimes have what the other one doesnt :)
