whatever section of the governor that clip was in, will no longer work.. those clips are what separate the different sections of governor..

Thanks tips ;)

Lmao do you know where I can get some??

This was on a junk pump, was just trying something. When I get this correct, I will probably just swap the gov in to my running engine. Instead of mess with another gov.

I suppose I could use a clip from the gov that this modded one will be replacing? Anything different between an 81 and 91 pump, internally? Like the circlips they should be the same yes?

Aren't they just an E-clip??  Just realized it's been years since I've had a pump apart, old age makes it hard to recall... ;)

TSC! never even thought of them. (what is TSC? lol) I do suppose they are just a run of the mill e clip, I will just take one off the gov in the running pump.

Check with a place that services snowmobile's.

That clip is about the same as the clips that hold the needle in the carbs on snow machines.

Macka, If you have a dog, you gotta try out the squeaky tennis balls..  Got one yesterday (along with candy of course)..  It's been priceless entertainment as it's been wiggin out my dog hard core...

I guess maybe small town TSC's in Canada suck compared to t-bay or the states. LoL

Not to much in the terms of little trinket parts, and not even a good tractor paint section. I was thinking of painting my 81 MF red ;)

Out west where the Farms are bigger, the TSC's are bigger. Most even have horse tac. I know Princess Auto is pretty good for the stuff you need.
