Title: Lifted Beattle
Post by: Powered by Spearco on March 27, 2011, 06:38:26 pm
I installed a 2" lift kit on a New Beattle TDI last week.
I think it looks great.

By the way, those are the 16" Moster Truck Nutz.

LOL, saw that on your bro's facebook. I helped a guy do a smaller lift last week on a golf.

Wagon springs in the back, moog VR6 springs plus OEM 10mm spacers up front.

Wound up about a 1" lift.

Nice. We did OEM VR6 springs in front with wagon springs in the rear.

Kinda looks like a rally beetle, just needs a bigger tire to fill up the wheel wells now..

do you not understand that the nuts were purely a joke, just to show off for the camera?

because some of us actually have a sense of humor on this forum..

i laughed when i first saw them.. first car ive ever seen with truck nutz..

definitely needs a little more tire, but cool, reminds me of what my dad did to his 66 chevelle real ss a bit, he wanted it to sit up a little higher up front so it would have more of a gasser look so he stuck big block chevelle wagon springs up front

The first car I owned that was all mine was a 74 super beetle welded on to a 75 cj5 jeep frame. This isn't quite as cool as mine, but a am sure a ton safer. I sold it. 45mph sideways in a field, I just couldn't help myself to run the crap out of it everytime I was in it. The scarey part was it did not have a cage, so when it did roll I figured I would be done. Fun while it lasted.
