Title: dakota digital tach converter in a 86 cabriolet

 Have my 86 cabby that i have dropped a aaz into and wanted to get the tach to work , saw on the DD web site that the interface may not work with the (86-92 vanagan and other models) any body have any experence with this if it will work or not?

you should have no problems using one in an 86 cabby.. it should still be running the good ol' ce1 wiring..
