In the US, where is a good place to get a good price on a good quality block heater? I see Kats 11420 units for 15 bucks on Amazon.com, if you spend more than 25 on an order you get free shipping. They look ok, not really rugged metal but you get what you pay for right?

i got mine ordered through napa and it is working great...around 14.00

Napa part number KAT 11420 shows 24.99, 400 watt KAT block heater, freeze plug type.

Kats Part Number 11429 is brass.

When I was looking I noticed there were "cheaper" metal ones and then the brass ones for a little more.  I got the brass one.

thanks I didn't see that part number. I wish I had bought the brass ones they are much better quality.
