Title: Dash cross-over compatibility
Post by: trav1856 on March 05, 2011, 10:31:43 am
I've been searching for about two weeks now, and I've been looking for what dashes and interior goodies will cross.

I've got an 81 Rabbit, dash is pretty thrashed (well at least the top of the dash), the vents need a serious cleaning (mud wasps got inside the ventilation system) so I'll probably need to remove the dash anyway to get it all cleaned out. So I figured while I had it apart, I'd look at see what I can fit into a MK1 Rabbit. Ideas?

Best is the jetta dash ( MK1 ), same as the cabby dash

Ive seen G60 corrado's also

I just had a mk1 jeatta dash installed and love it

new fan and heater core installed during the swap

No rattles, two glove boxes and a nice shelf under the driver's side

Yeah I saw that, looks real nice. I wish we could find a good supplier of dash and door trim parts.
