Title: 1995 vw 1.9 L Diesel alternator replacement
Post by: vwnybs on March 01, 2011, 03:01:35 pm
Hello,
In the process of replacing the original alternator on my 1995 jetta 1.9 L diesel, the new alternator did not come
with a pulley installed. So i am using the original pulley for now. What should i torque the retaining nut to on the pulley?

thanks

Good time to put a clutch pulley on ?

I just stopped by my local vw shop with a 40oz and the mechanic put in on for me in a second...

Damn, your mechanics work cheap down there, here one needs at least a six-pack of domestic.
