Title: Desireable transmission
Post by: dodger21 on February 26, 2011, 10:41:02 am: So I have a parts car that came with a AOP code transmission.

My 85 I am driving has a ACH transmission.

Which is better? I notice the 3rd and 4th gears are different. I like a bit of peppy-ness so is the ACH better in that regard?

Which ever one I keep, the other is for sale.

Which has a bigger input shaft and axles? I assume the AOP as it's from a later car.

yea, there the same size input shaft. only 16v and mk3 cars got the big shaft.
