Title: anyone know what a 2.5 is timed to? help

im building a 2.5 ACV engine and trying to set up the pump timing before it goes in, i know you guys are gona say use vagcom but i want it to just run perfect first time, i think it should be timed to 0.55 on the old depth gauge, but im realy not sure also can anyone confirm exactly what timing marks i should be looking for on the pump?

any help would be very much appreciated
