Title: Ford 6.0 vendor recommendation
Post by: blackdogvan on January 11, 2011, 06:39:41 am
My pals looking for a good vendor for 2005 ford 6 liter bits; egr delete, +mpg chip etc. Not major hp stuff, just looking to build reliability in a truck that does a baja run every year. Any recomendations for a vendor & bits?

heres a recommendation for your buddy: get a duramax! lol..

anyway, jokes aside..

open up a diesel power magazine. they have all sorts of good companys supplying all the powerjoke 6.0 "fix" parts..

its kinda a shame ford was rushed with the 6.0 so bad.. i think it could have had the potential to be a good engine had it not been thrown together in like 2 weeks.

Ya well I told him pretty much the same thing, from the dmax to the mags. The problem is there are soo many frikkin vendors for the big three diesel aftermarket.

there are tons of vendors, and pretty much all of them you see advertising in the big diesel mags, supply pretty good parts..

i doubt your buddy is really gonna find a single vendor for all his 6.0 goodies.. not even gignormous companies like banks make a complete line of parts for a 6.0...
