wish i had 300 bucks.. you would have no seats..
for anyone tall, these seats are a MUST! they go back 4 more inches, and are 3 inches lower than standard vw seats.
GOOD LUCK WITH THE SALE!
good price too if you ask me..
-
Not bad price...
I got G60 seat's and complete set of braked for 400.00
Dont ask what i paid to have them covered in NOS scirocco fabric and black leatherette vinyl..
-
with a recaro seat, i would NEVER recover them with anything besides recaro skins. they are so awesome.
i bet your rado seats are nice n comfy Gee Bee

stock seats are unacceptable in a VW.. ive never had Rado seats, but i know i LOVE my recaros, and so do most of the people that ride in my car.
Ben, i really wish i could take out a loan and come buy your seats, cause i bent one of mine in a wreck. and its going to be hard to find someone selling 1 recaro..
-
I've had both the Recaros that are for sale in this thread and leather Corrado seats and honestly prefer the Recaros. The Corrado seats are a bit nicer for longer drives and I sink into them quite nicely, but they don't hug you the same as Recaros do. If I had the money to get a set of Recaro seats and rewrap them in black leather to match the rest of my interior, I'd do that in a heartbeat.
Good luck selling these, looks like a good price to me! :)
-
I agree, I like the Corrado seats because they sit lower but the recaros are more comfy in my opinion. They are like sitting in a big teddy bear! Thanks everyone and come get these. R.O.R I would hook you up if you were closer, sorry to hear about your bent seat.

RADO SEATS ARE LOWER THAN RECAROS?!
do they go back any farther? i know you get about +3" head room, and around +4" leg room with recaros in a rabbit, compared to stock seats..
-
I don't know about leg room but definitely lower than recaros. I personally like them better because of that but they are stiff in my opinion.
-
recaros are still firm, but very comfy too.
-
someone has to want these!
-
Good luck with the sale. I found a set of Recaro's for $400 outside Boston off the vortex. Guy recovered them in marine grade vinyl and did a top notch job. However, maroon and white do not really match well with a gray (and dirt) interior. So I will look into recovering them, and adding heater elements.
Stay safe, stay well. Jimmy.

Want vs. need ... and afford. Great price and I definately want, but not bad enough. Don't worry someone will give them a home soon.

Will the back seat fit in a Golf or only a Jetta?
-
only a jetta, it might fit in a golf too, but not direct bolt in.. mk2 golfs usually had 60/40 split bench seats..
i dont think i could hack up a recaro seat to make it work in a golf..

Thanks for the replies, guys, I might have a buyer from MI.
