I guess my compression [keep this mind when i'm selling it next spring] must be good as i thought my hard starting issues were from WVO getting into my diesel fuel filter [from the return valve], but changed it and it didn't get any better. After cranking for 1-2 minutes to get it to go, i figured i better check the GP's. Well, #1 &3 were burnt. However thank me that i have a NA. Changed them while sunny , but still -9oc.

NAs are fantastic aren't they :)

Sooo much easier

Don't make me race both of you NA Luddites in my Malone-tuned TDI after a cold Edmonton winter morning ;-)

Let's make the race interesting, who can change their head gasket faster! ;D

Wow, i'd actually like to take that up. If bleeding the coolant [ mine is a Vanagon] isn't part of it, and if i could use air tools.....

why does everyone say it takes longer on a TD? i leave the turbo, and intake attached to the head when i pull the head.
then again, ive never done a head gasket on a factory TD car. all my TD stuff is half breeds.. a mixture of TDI and n/a parts.. lol.
