Title: my 95 GTI TDI project

I had an AHU in it but it is now at the shop for body work and i would like to restore it over the winter. Since i have a complete ALH sitting, should i rebuild that instead and try to fit that in or should i redo with the AHU but i want to go with a vnt1749vb that i bought from here.  Do i need the MK4 tranny or will the mk3 Tranny works with the ALH?  What about motor mounts?

ALH should also have a VNT already bolted on it.
