So, I watched "Grown Ups" on demand the other nite. And, I'd hate to admit that I laughed rather heartily at the whole "Saskatchetoon" bit. I'm not proud of that, but I think it had more to do with the high-pitched voice and the guy's cartoonish eyeballs.

Just wondering if the Canucks were offended, or happened to laugh too.

I laughed in Montreal. But what about those closer to the action? I called my old grad school officemate who works & lives in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. He saw it in the theater there and said the place went nuts (cheering) when the guy said he was from "Saskatchetoon".

I laughed in Ontario! But I also laughed at his manly physique and super duper gheyy voice lolol.

My wife and I thought it was amusing. Odd thread. Maybe we should get a section started for miscellaneous topics like a "Lounge" or something.

Yeah, I didn't know where to put it. I just had that image of the guy saying Saskatchetoon in my head, and had to put it out there.
