i am looking for a boost pin as an upgrade for my AAZ. I believe they are from the 1.6 or some model of rover.
-
The Rover pin is the real hot-rod... I had one but sold it a while ago. I still have a new set of KermaTDI AAZ injection nozzles, bigger than stock. Combining the pin and nozzles with bumped-up pop pressure makes the AAZ wake up.

what rover does it come out of? is there any way to buy one from the dealer? what about vw wonder if dealer can get the 1.6 pin?
-
Should be a few in the local boneyards.....

410 had one for me on here.

I still have some boost pins. It depends what you want though. If you're careful you can grind your aaz pin to give you more on boost fueling.

I found a picture...The Rover pin is shaped sort of like a bell; wide at the bottom for about a 1/4" lip and then tapers in a linear fashion... it's nothing exotic, simply a linear diminishing diameter. If you have a drill press, you could probably chuck a stock pin and turn it on slow speed, and grind it down with a dremel, or take this picture to a machine shop.

The spring rate is pretty imortant too, AAZ spring is too weak & vomits fuel.

What are you looking to get for the injectors?

This is what I have. 1.6 pin on the left and my homemade pin on the right.
