Title: Question about idle

Finally got my beast to start and run, a couple of questions, i have an '84 TD in my rabbit and in order for me to start the car i have to keep reving the car, if i let me foot off the accelerator and teh vehicle dies, is there an adjustment screw or something i need to unscrew or tweak in order to get it to idle with out having to have my foot on the pedal alittle?

Try moving the clip on the accelerator cable at the pump end. Move clip nearer to sheath end. Then with idle sufficient, take up slack on stop screw
