Title: Priming '84 TD
Post by: jaysen71581 on October 29, 2010, 05:09:54 am
Back to pick everyones brain again, just got back the newly resealed pump and installed it, i have a seperate tank with an OMC priming bulb and its rigged up to the inlet of my pump i have fuel in the pump and im cranking the motor over and i am not seeing any fuel coming out of my hard lines at the injectors. There is also a little hose im not to sure where it goes, it comes off the other end of the return nipple and its a long thin black hose, now i have fuel come out of that when i crank the motor over.

The thin line on the same banjo fitting as the return to tank line is a return line from your injectors. Each injector has two small barbs. Each injector should be daisy chained to the next, and #4's last barb should be connected to the main IP return via that line. The #1 injector should have a cap on the unused barb.

Yes i have 12 volts to the solenoid and it does click when i turn the key, i guess ill just keep at it alittle longer, what would be a good replacement for the lines that go to those injector nipples?

Thanks i i was wondering where that line went lol...
