Title: Type of Alternator on a TDI

so its 10:30PM on Friday night, and I have found an Alternator for my TDI (since it broke down on us) will a Non Clutch type work?

I have a factory reman fixed Bosch in the box with a new clutch pulley for 150.00
90 amp model , uses the serp tensioner

I'm sorry but that doesn't help me when I'm 5 hours from home in another province and needed one ASAP. We ended up figuring out it was clutch type and picked up a new bosch 120AMP for $200,

do 98 AHU have a 90 or 120?

Its a 90amp same as mine, we got a free upgrade to 120amp lol
