People claim the cheapie ebay ones work. You won't have all the functions, but they're alot cheaper.

Personally, I have the Hex-Com ($300ish). I tell you what. I was reticent about the buy, but I've made so much money off this tool, it was well spent. I've probably netted over 5k in repair work as a direct result of owning this thing. It makes you smarter.

I may have bought it(usb cable) thru Amazon. WWW.KEYSPAN.COM is printed on the cable end

Theres 2 on ebay uk now I'm 99% sure, you could ask if they'd ship???
