Is it just me but is the Home screen now white instead of Black? or am I loosing it? ???

Don't worry your fine...it's white, why is that ? Liked the black one better or maybe there still a few bugs ?

a white background is such a waste of electricity, which ultimately comes from a fuel of some sort. thats why i use blackle ;D

If you have ye olde worlde CRT monitor, then true, it will use less juice, but I used to keep my pasties warm on mine. If you have a newer LCD screen, the backlight is on full chat all the time. So it won't make any difference. Sorry to be a smartarse. ;)

the backlight may be on all the time, but the actual pixels light up too, on and off. white pixels are just white, completely on pixels. black pixels are turned clear off, but because of the backlight, an LCD can not produce actual black, just a very dark grey..

Ah! I missed that, ;D
