Title: Anyone here from Winnipeg or the surrounding area?

I'll be going to the U of W this year, and far away from my garage and tools. Would anyone here happen to be close and be able to offer any emergency assistance if I would happen to need it in exchange for money, beer, or help with any of your projects?

If I was a little closer I would be happy to. Just make sure you find someone with a heated garage because winter-time repairs are not fun at -40C.  :P

No way!! Haha thats too funny, I've actually heard he's a pretty popular prof. My very good friend Tim ownes Scibarras automotive on Pembina but thats nowhere near UoW, good to know if you get stuck. There is a pretty strong VW following there, I don't think you'll have a problem finding a few fellow nutjobs. Watch out for the frikkin 5.0 mustangs there tho, for some aweful reason they got popular in wpg way back when... makes me sick just thinking about it.
