Title: is passat 35 tach same as golf 2?

i have the problem of a over-reading tach(1.9 engine with what i supose must be a 1.6 tach despite the numbers were the same) and after searching i found the "1.6 TD tach over-reading on AAZ engine - FIXED " thread.

i may have found the solution but i dont know if it aplys also to a passat 35i tach... ???
