Title: best turbo for aaz

hi guys im a long time lurker here. im just lookin for opinions for best turbo for my aaz. i had a 1.6td with what i belive to be a t3 but it could only boost 1 bar and was very laggy.the aaz i have now has its standard tiny turbo but will boost 1.5bar instantly i also have just got a 1.6gtd engine with a watercooled turbo just wonderin wat they boost like?

your T3 didnt work right if it only made 15 psi.. it should make 30 psi easy.. and be pretty laggy, but not horrible..

What kind of driving do you do?

Spirited? redline? foot to the floor?

generally flat out ;D i dont understand y the t3 ddn boost as mush as the aaz turbo cause the t3 is about twice the size! the turbo was perfect and the wastegate was blocked ???

The usual reasons would be:

(a) boost leak
(b) pump not delivering enough fuel to create enough exhaust heat
